WHAT DOES A SUBARU ADDED SECURITY EXTENDED SERVICE CONTRACT COVER?
Subaru Added Security products compliment Subaru's factory 3-year or 36,000 mile, whichever comes first limited new car warranty, and the 5-year, 60,000 mile, whichever comes first powertrain warranty by paying for most repairs no longer covered by one of the above warranties. This protection can be extended up to 7-years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. These plans are ideal for drivers planning to keep their Subaru for more than 3 years or 36,000 miles, and with the complex components, technology, and sophisticated electronics in newer vehicles, we are sure you agree that having an extended service contract makes sense.
You can choose from two different levels of coverage:
Classic Plan: The Classic Plan covers nearly 1,000 parts in all major component areas, including but not limited to the engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brakes, electrical, cooling, and fuel systems. It also provides for towing and rental car reimbursement on covered repairs.
Gold Plus Plan: The Gold Plus Plan includes all Classic Plan coverage plus hundreds of other parts. In fact the Gold Plus Plan essentially provides the same level of coverage as the 3-year, 36,000 mile, whichever comes first limited warranty, but for a longer period of time. Only a few maintenance items and body parts are not included in this coverage. The Gold Plus Plan comes with the following addition benefits: lodging and meal reimbursement if a breakdown interrupts your out-of-town travel, 24-Hour roadside assistance, $100 allowance towing, jump start, tire change, gasoline delivery (up to 2 gallons), and lock out service.
